Denisse had to go off and do a quick errand, so that gave me a chance to snap some shots with Olivia and Emma. Of course, Olivia decided to "ham it up" a little for the camera. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Another Welcome is in Order

Well, I can't catch a break around here. Don't get me wrong, I am loving little Emma. She is a doll and has been an absolutely amazing baby! We can't imagine life without her here, but while I was off from school and my internship, we decided to motivate Olivia in her quest to be a great big sister. That motivation included getting her a fish at the end of the week because she had been asking Denisse for one for quite a while now. So, we developed a point system for the week with good and bad points related to her behavior, manners, actions during the day, etc. Of course, she passed with flying colors and got her wish. Therefore, as the title dictates, we are welcoming a new fish to the family, appropriately named Nemo. Technically, Nemo II because Olivia has naming rights on a fish in our neighbor's pond back in Jersey too.

Who would have guessed the fish's gender, that is a right, a girl!

Olivia, Big Sister and more...

Miss Reni, eat your heart out!!! We have a future dancer, singer and maybe down the line, actor in training. Don't worry, we are not pushing these activities and being all crazy "stage mom". We just thought these clips were funny and entertaining! Enjoy! BTW, as you can tell, her new favorite song is "Amazing" by Bruno Mars!

Two Weeks Old

Emma already hit the two week mark this past Sunday and did great at her 1 week appointment. She was already 1 oz. heavier than her initial birth weight and is looking great! More pictures will follow!

Helpful Big Sister

A fed baby is a happy baby! Luckily, we have a great big sister in the house. She has been holding Emma, with a watchful eye nearby and this week, also offered to help feed her baby sister. Her are the pictures of that feeding. She really enjoyed it and did a great job.

One Week Old

As Olivia was growing up, we found that it was absolutely amazing how she changed from week to week and month to month. Plan for Emma is, to take pictures in her swing as she gets older. We will take pics for the first four weeks and then we will slow them down to once a month to watch her grow. We really enjoyed doing this with Olivia and we will surely enjoy watching Emma grow. Hope everyone is doing great as we are enjoying my time off from school and work this week!

Introducing Emma Sofia

Emma Sofia was born on March 6th, at exactly 6 am weighing in at 6 lbs. 10-oz. She was 19 inches long. Like Olivia, she decided to come about 3 weeks early! Sorry for taking so long to post this, but things were a little hectic the first week after Emma was born. She is doing great at home and we are very happy to have a newborn in the house again.

Olivia is doing a great job at being a big sister, and thus far, is adjusting well to her new sister. Thanks for all the well wishes and more posts will follow!!!
