Frog Falls Pool Party!

This weekend we had a Military Appeciation pool party at the base water park. We had a great
time and Livi was able to see some of her friends from school.

Mystical Getaway!

To celebrate our birthdays we decided to take a little roadtrip. We headed three hours NorthEast to Mystic, CT. We had an unforgettable time and couldn' t have had better weather. Our first stop was to the Mystic Aquarium where Livi saw beluga whales, penguins, seals, sea lions and much more. After her long nap at the hotel we went to have lunch "down by the river" at a much-craved seafood restaurant. After lunch we took a boat ride up the Mystic River and saw tall ships at the seaport, beautiful houses, and just enjoyed all the views. This was definitely a trip worth taking!

Perfect 10!!

We had another awesome weekend. It was what we call "A perfect 10". There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the temperatures reached 81 degrees. Perfect. Our close friend, Jan, came to stay with us for a couple of nights and we took him to the lake with our other friends Robin and Paula. Olivia built sand castles, took her first boat ride, and couldn't get enough of the water. What a day!!

Over 4th of July weekend we went back to steamy Texas for Uncle Manny and Aunt Adri's wedding. We had a great time hanging out with family, swimming, and attempting to stay cool in the 100 plus temperatures. Congrats Manny and Adri!!
