To celebrate our birthdays we decided to take a little roadtrip. We headed three hours NorthEast to Mystic, CT. We had an unforgettable time and couldn' t have had better weather. Our first stop was to the Mystic Aquarium where Livi saw beluga whales, penguins, seals, sea lions and much more. After her long nap at the hotel we went to have lunch "down by the river" at a much-craved seafood restaurant. After lunch we took a boat ride up the Mystic River and saw tall ships at the seaport, beautiful houses, and just enjoyed all the views. This was definitely a trip worth taking!

What a beautiful family, Livi is really growing up...I look at these pics of her and of Jetta and think that soon they'll be making their own little group of "alief girlfriends". ha. Also looks like you have lots of great places within driving distance like we do over here...I'll be sad to live back in Houston where everything is over 4 hours away!
