Blizzard 2010

As most of you saw on the news, we were hit with a pretty big snow storm yesterday. We had about a twelve inch accumlation. Definitely the most snow we have had since we've lived here. But with the downfalls of storms, there is always a positive. We have been able to go outside and play in the snow and have tons of laughs. With the help of our friend (and neighbor) Robin, we made a mogul down the hill and a berm at the end so we wouldn't hit our shed. We got home early and spend a good 45 minutes outside. Livi couldn't get enough.

Grumpy Birthday Girl

Today Olivia celebrated her birthday with her classmates at school. Typically, this is done on the day of her birthday but because of the storm yesterday they did it today. As you can see, she was not a happy camper. She did not want to put on that birthday crown at all!! Good thing we didn't buy any birthday hats for Saturday, otherwise I think we'd have a problem.

Two....Already?

Our family was blessed in two ways today! One, we actually had a snow day and were able to spend some amazing time together playing in the snow and doing other fun things around the house. This day off was even better because we were truly blessed by Olivia coming into our lives just two short years ago. We were fortunate enough to get a day, although a very snowy one, off of work to celebrate with our beautiful, funny, spontaneous, loving and absolutely amazing two year old daughter. Olivia, everyday over the past two years has been a perfect one. Through the joys, laughs and tears, you have warmed our hearts with every moment and made us want to be better parents. We love you very much and look forward to many blessed years together as a family!!!
