First day of school!!

Livi started school today! Wow, was she excited. She is going to be attending two days a week and she is already asking when she is going back. We are so excited for her, but it made Mama and Daddy a little sad!

Busy little bee!

This fall we are going to be pretty busy running this little munchkin around. She started Introduction to Ballet/Tap and is still continuing with swimming.

A trip to the Zoo

We had unseasonably cooler weather last week and we thought we would take the opportunity to take Livi to the Ft. Worth Zoo. Livi loved it, of course, and we did too!

SPI Aug 2010

Last weekend we headed way down south to South Padre Island for a little weekend getaway. We were supposed to go in June, but Hurricane Alex ruined our plans. We had a great weekend boogie boarding, building sand castles and hanging out with our family. A perfect weekend before everyone had to go back to school/work.

Summer, Summer, Summertime!!

We have really loved being back in Texas this summer. So much so, that we have been doing so much we have been slacking on the blog updates. Livi loves going to the pool and playing with her friends Jetta and Elena. Andrew finishes his first summer session on Monday and of course, did an awesome job. I have been absolutely loving living so close to one of my bestie's from childhood, Shelley. Being military I never thought I would get the opportunity to live so close to family and friends and I am soaking every second of it up. Below are some photos of our summer outings.

Back in Texas

Alright, after a long period of inactivity, we will try to start updating the blog again. We are finally settled in our home and Olivia is enjoying the Texas heat by spending time at our neighborhood pool. Once we begin gathering more photos, we will update the blog a little more. Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mother's out there. I hope you had a fabulous day with your kiddos or alone (whichever you preferred).

I was able to celebrate this mommy's day with my mommy and my adorable daughter. We had all these great plans to go into the city, but those plans were quickly changed when we woke to temperatures in the forties. Nevertheless, we had a lovely day together and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
